ABC Acres Farm

Our day starts with feeding the flock and herd, watering plants, fruits, and vegetables in season. The goats may need new bedding (Straw for bedding, hay for food) so we clean out their house and put down new layers. Bedding in the chicken coop is added regularly using the deep-liter method to produce additional compost. Hooves need to be trimmed and maintained, brushing of their fur coats helps care for a smooth and good looking goat. Basic veterinary care is provided as needed, in addition to other needs for baby chickens and goats. Egg collection is daily in the morning and evening.
